Summer Internship

Actuarial Development Program
Application Window
July - December
Program Timeframe
Full-time roles: Three to five 18–30-month rotations starting in July after the application window
Program Highlights
Attend on-site technical and professional development classes
Utilize advanced Excel techniques and programming
Gain exposure to actuarial software, including GGY AXIS, MG-ALFA, and PolySystems Study for actuarial exams during work hours – up to 200 study hours in a six-month period (Genworth will cover fees associated with exams, including registrations, study materials, and seminars. Participants will also receive salary increases for each exam passed with an extra bonus for passing on your first attempt.)
Finance and Investments Development Program

Full-time roles: Two to three year-long rotations starting in June after the application window
Program Highlights
Attend formal classroom training for finance, accounting, investments, business strategy, and leadership development.
Obtain hands-on finance, investments, and accounting experience, which could include:
• Financial planning and analysis
• Controllership
• Expense management
• Accounting and reporting
• Investment operations
• Portfolio management
• Public and private asset credit research
• Alternatives
• Real estate
• Trading
Information Technology Development Program
Application Window
July - December
Program Timeframe
Full-time roles: Four sixth-month rotations starting in July after the application window
Program Highlights
Attend on-site technical and professional development classes
Receive on-the-job training and practical experience in advanced information technology and systems
Develop and strengthen skills in a variety of IT disciplines, including application development, IT infrastructure, security, automation, cloud engineering, data science, data engineering, project management, and more
